Using Custom Backgrounds in Microsoft Teams – Star Wars

Microsoft Teams has the ability to create a background for your video conferencing without requiring any special equipment or green screen.  To enable backgrounds make sure you have enabled Video when making a call/meeting and then select the ellipse menu and then "Show background effects" Once enabled a selection of available backgrounds will appear on the right side of Teams.  Simply select a background and either "Preview" or "Apply". Office on the web for Free!

If you already have a Windows Live account, also referred to as hotmail or passport, when you log into your account you will find the new Office menu. These are free, online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote that you can access from the web browser.  Yes, they are watered down, but they are compatible with their desktop versions and are surprisingly functional.  The PowerPoint Web App is one to really look at. Office 2010 to launch on May 12

ZDnet is reporting that Office 2010 will be released at an event in New York on May 12th, you can watch it at Microsoft here.  Initially it will only be immediately available for businesses with licensing agreements.  It should reach retail and the masses sometime in June....
